CMP Area

There is lots to do in Calabogie and its environs.  This region area is a prime area for summer recreational activities – hiking, canoeing, boating, camping, ATV’ing, and so on.  There are a number of resorts in the area with accommodation, and restaurants. The towns of Arnprior (35 min), Renfrew (35 min), Almonte (45 min) and Perth (55 min) are not so far away on some scenic and fun drives, and Ottawa is just over an hour away.

Calabogie boasts, among other things, Tom Irwin Adventure Tours. Tom, a five time Canadian Enduro Championship winner with 44 years of motorcycling experience, conducts guided tours in a fleet of ATV’s and side-by-sides on the more than 600 km of trails in the area.  Restaurants in the area include: On the Rocks Restaurant; Oh-el-la Café; the Redneck Bistro; Calabogie Brewing Co.  Just down the road in Burnstown are: Neat Coffee Shop (with regular musical entertainment); and the Blackbird Café.

In terms of accommodation, Calabogie Motorsports Park has suites available, and in Calabogie you will find: the Calabogie Peaks Resort; Villa Resort Suites at the Calabogie Highlands Golf Resort; and the Calabogie Lodge.  There are just some of the accommodations available in Calabogie and the area.  There is also plenty of accommodation available in the surrounding towns.

We at the Ottawa SportsCar Club welcome you to one of the best tracks in North America, with lots to see and do in the area and nearby.

We look forward to seeing you at the Calabogie Summer Classic.
