We are 5 days away from the first event of the 2023 Regional Race Series - the BEMC Spring Trophy Races. There is still time to REGISTER so come on out and join us. The entry looks great (well the VARAC Vintage Historic run group is kinda' small) and the WEEKEND WEATHER looks good. Don't forget to register for the PIRELLI Tire Championship before May 6 too...
For those of you who have already registered:
Scrutineering is scheduled to open at 2 pm on Friday and at 7 am on Saturday. If you haven't had your car teched yet please plan accordingly. Mike Nilson and his team have already done over 100 annual techs for 2023 - a great start - but that means they may have 50 or more to do for this weekend's entries. Be patient and help where you can.
There will be a mandatory drivers' meeting at 7:45 am Saturday at the CTMP podium. We're even considering helmet stickers this year...
BEMC uses the far east end of of the mock grid to set up for their on-track sessions (not the west end with the washrooms and the canopy).
Cars will be inspected on the Mock grid for their annual tech sticker, their event sticker and the required series and sponsor decals. If you are missing something you may be issued a warning. If you show up for the next session without the proper decals you may be excluded from the race results. Decals are available at the CASC-OR Tech Trailer - make sure you get what you need before you head out on track.
After the feature races on Sunday all cars are to report to the impound, park your car and head over to the CTMP podium for award presentations.
