- Driver’s meeting held by Tom Prentice to express concerns over continued track stability and continuity.
- Warmer weather is making it more difficult to build and maintain the track.
- Use of non D.O.T. studded tires contributing to more rapid deterioration of the track and increased difficulty in maintaining the track
- Because of season and increased costs (track building increased by 40%) clubs operated at a lose this season

- Sponsorship and media coverage
- Increased participation – encouraging new competitors to join.

- Use of a series specified D.O.T. studded tire.

- Increased focus on marketing
