Last year CASC-OR generated an operating profit in excess of $40,000. This was primarily due to large reductions in our administrative costs. As promised at the Annual Members' Meeting and the Race Division Workshop last fall, we are reducing the cost of Competition A and B licenses for 2023 as follows:
OLD PRICE: $250.00 + $32.50 HST = $282.50
NEW PRICE: $176.99 + $23.01 HST = $200.00
If you have already renewed your A or B license for 2023 (like I have) you will receive a refund of $82.50 to your account. If you paid by credit card it will show up on your statement. If you paid in some other manner then we'll find a way to get you the money...
If we have similar financial results in 2023 then these fees may be lowered again in 2024.
We hope that this price makes it easier on our racers to renew, in particular, we hope it will induce some of those people that haven't been out for the last couple of years to return to the track. The more people we sign up the lower the individual costs we have to charge.
Remember to renew your license your club membership has to be current, we need a photo if we don't have one on file, and you may need a medical examination. You may start the renewal process on the MEMBERS' WEBSITE.
