Canadian Automobile Sport Clubs - Ontario Region (CASC-OR) affiliated to the newly FIA (Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile) appointed ASN Canada (GDS-ASN Canada).
After the resignation of ASN Canada FIA from the FIA in December of 2019 and being without an affiliation link to a National and International Motorsport Governing Organization, the Board of Directors of the Canadian Automobile Sport Clubs – Ontario Region voted to affiliate with the newly appointed FIA Motorsport Authority for Canada namely Sports Development Group –ASN Canada (GDS-ASN Canada).
“With the affiliation of CASC-OR (Canadian Automobile Sport Clubs –Ontario Region) the Ontario Governing body for Motorsport to GDS-ASN CANADA the Canadian Motorsport Governing Body we are again part of the FIA family” said Gunter Schmidt President of CASC-OR.
We are looking forward to working with the new Organization and all the other Canadian regions as we have in the past, to create long term stability through cooperative efforts and to grow and foster Motorsport in Ontario and Canada on all levels.
