	CASC ONTARIO REGION is Ontario's governing body of automobile sport, and is comprised of over 30 automobile and sport enthusiast clubs within Ontario. The organization defines and administers the province's regional championships in several disciplines, with club-organized events in Road Racing, Ice Racing, SoloSprint time trials, Lapping, AutoSlaloms and Road Rallies. In addition, the majority of timers, corner marshals and safety personnel at events such as the Honda Indy Toronto are members of our clubs. Whatever your area of interest may be, we have a place for you within one of our many areas of grassroots motorsports. 	Sundown Grand Prix 3 Hour Enduro - ENTRIES OPEN! 5/10/10 The 2010 Sundown Grand Prix will take place on Mosport's Victoria Day SpeedFest Weekend May 21/22/23, 2010! The schedule is complete with practice, qualifying, and the three hour race all taking place on Saturday, May 22. Click here for the event schedule. Cars will be classed by the CASC-OR GT Sprints classification for GT 1 through GT 6. Entry fees will be $500 per team, and a competitor friendly rebate program will again be in place. In, 2009, each of the 29 teams entered received a $100 rebate of their entry fee the week after the race! Competitors will receive a rebate on their entry fee based on the number of competitors who start the event. The more starters we have, the less expensive it is for everyone! 25 or more starters - $100 rebate per entry 30 or more starters - $150 rebate per entry 40 or more starters - $200 rebate per entry Entry forms are the CASC-OR 2010 Endurance version and can be downloaded here. Pre-entries can be e-mailed to raceregistrar@casc.on.ca or faxed per the instructions on the form until May 19. 	Toyo Tire Canada Increase Sponsorship With Canadian Automobile Sport Clubs – Ontario Region For 2010 3/25/10 (Toronto, ON) Toyo Tires returns as a CASC-OR title sponsor for 2010. The new agreement marks the third year of the Toyo Tires Championship, a competition within CASC’s provincial championships in road racing, solosprint and autoslalom. In order to be eligible, all competitors are required to run the Toyo Proxes R888 and must purchase the tires through the Team Toyo Racing program. Autoslalom and solosprint competitors can also choose to run the new Toyo R1R ultra high-performance tire in a street tire class within their respective championships. The Toyo Proxes R1R is an extreme performance street tire for sports coupes and sedans. Featuring a 140 AA A UTQG rating, the Proxes R1R is available in 15 to 18 inch sizes. As before substantial discounts will be offered to CASC members though the Team Toyo Racing program. “Over the years we have formed a valuable relationship with the CASC-OR. We're excited about the enhancements to our agreement this year, and we hope that our partnership will help encourage the continued growth and success of grassroots motorsports in Ontario” said James de Chavez, Marketing Coordinator for Toyo Tire Canada Inc. “Toyo has continued to demonstrate their commitment to grassroots motorsports by not only returning as a CASC-OR sponsor but by increasing their support as well. 	CSC Racing Products Continues CASC-OR Sponsorship For 2010 3/5/10 Named “Official Racing Safety Products Supplier” for the New GT Challenge Enduro Championship Series. (Toronto, ON) Renewing their sponsorship for 2010 is CSC Racing Products of Newmarket, Ontario, who becomes the “Official Racing Safety Products Supplier” for the New GT Challenge Enduro Championship Series. Jennifer & Ralph DeWinter of CSC Racing Products finalized the deal with Perry Iannuzzi from Pure Motorsports Marketing in Markham, Ontario on behalf of CASC-OR. CSC also signed on as Associate Sponsor with the Mobil 1 AutoSlalom Championship and the Mobil 1 SoloSprint Championship as well as the CASC-OR GT Sprint Series. “Unbelievably, this is CSC Racing Products 17th consecutive year of involvement as a corporate sponsor of CASC. We couldn’t be happier with the relationship that has grown exponentially over the years. 	Mobil 1 Back With CASC-OR For 2010 2/4/10 (Toronto, ON) At the recent Canadian Motorsports Expo Canadian Automobile Sport Clubs - Ontario Region (CASC-OR) re-signed Mobil 1 as the title sponsor for the 2010 SoloSprint series and the 2010 Autoslalom Series. “There is no doubt in my mind that this is a show of confidence in grassroots motorsports in Ontario and we at CASC-OR are pleased that despite the tough economic challenges of the past year, Mobil 1 has chosen to continue their support. I know there will be continued mutual success for both parties involved” said CASC-OR Vice President, Steven Day.
